We are seeking an Estimator with strong experience in residential wood framing and the versatility to support commercial projects as well. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in producing accurate, complete hard-bid and conceptual/design estimates, especially for multi-story panelized and trussed wood-framed structures such as apartments and hotels.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret contract documents (plans, specifications, addenda).
- Perform quantity take-offs, organize pricing, and analyze estimate data.
- Qualify and solicit bids/quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to clarify scope and pricing.
- Evaluate risks, trends, and historical data to improve estimate accuracy and competitiveness.
- Forecast labor, material, and equipment needs to support preconstruction planning.
- Prepare and submit complete bid proposals.
- Provide turnover documents and details to the Project Management Team.
- Support project managers in early preconstruction activities such as procurement planning and materials review.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction with at least 2 years of estimating. Ideal: 10+ years overall with 5+ years focused on rough and finish carpentry estimating.
- Residential focus: Strong background in panelized and trussed multi-family wood framing; commercial estimating experience a plus.
- Tools: Familiarity with Digital Takeoff / Bid software, PDF editing and collaboration software, Microsoft Office Standards and/or scheduling software.
- Knowledge: Excellent understanding of construction methods, crew data, and cost drivers.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, effective communicator (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Traits: Integrity, accountability, reliability, proactivity and the ability to thrive under pressure while collaborating with a team.

Union Carpenters to join our team. Carpenters at Dale work on a variety of projects, contributing to both structural and interior systems with high-quality craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do
- Perform framing, installation, and finishing work on wood and light gauge steel structures, drywall, ceilings and grid systems, floors and ramps, insulation, trim, millwork, cabinetry, doors, windows, hardware, signage, and appliances.
- Perform layout work using levels, lasers, and other standard tools.
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to Dale’s standards.
- Take on other carpentry-related tasks as required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50–100 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and other physical activities common to construction work.
Union Drywall Finishers to join our team. Drywall Finishers at Dale play a key role in delivering smooth, finished surfaces and preparing interiors for their final appearance.
What You’ll Do
- Perform all levels of finishing on gypsum wallboard and other surfaces, including spackling, taping, coating, corner bead application, patching, sanding, and glaze coating.
- Prepare surfaces for finishing, ensuring they are ready for paint, texture, or other coatings.
- Use hand tools and mechanical tools for cutting, taping, coating, sanding, and surface preparation.
- Clean up and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Take on other finishing-related tasks as required.

Union Laborers to join our team. Laborers at Dale play an essential role in supporting carpentry and finishing crews by handling materials, preparing work areas, and keeping job sites safe and efficient.
What You’ll Do
- Unload, carry, transport, stock, distribute, and handle construction materials.
- Support the installation and application of light gauge steel, framing materials, furring, gypsum, plaster, flooring systems, and other construction components.
- Assist with cleanup, demolition, replacement, and touch-up work.
- Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for material handling and preparation.
- Keep job sites safe, clean, and organized for efficient operations.
- Take on other laborer-related tasks as required.

Union Plasterers to join our team. Plasterers at Dale are responsible for applying fireproofing, plaster, and related spray systems that ensure safe, durable, and high-quality finishes on our projects.
What You’ll Do
- Apply spray fireproofing, plastering, and similar systems to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Prepare surfaces for plastering and fireproofing applications.
- Handle and apply materials including plaster, fireproofing compounds, and associated products.
- Use and maintain hand tools, mechanical tools, and equipment needed for mixing, applying, and finishing.
- Clean up tools, equipment, and work areas; remove debris to keep sites safe and orderly.
- Take on other plastering-related tasks as required.

Construction Project Manager to lead carpentry and drywall projects across both commercial and residential markets. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, overseeing all phases from planning through closeout.
- Collaborate with the field supervisor to manage carpentry and drywall installations, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Work directly with clients, owners’ representatives, architects, engineers, and consultants to manage revisions, changes, and contractual matters.
- Oversee submittals, change management, scheduling, quality control, cost management, sustainability practices, punch lists, and closeout.
- Mentor and manage junior staff while collaborating closely with both office and on-site teams.
- Perform other related project management duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in construction, with at least 3 years managing carpentry and/or drywall projects. Experience across both residential (multi-family, mixed-use) and commercial work is highly valued.
- Technical: Proven expertise in carpentry and drywall systems; comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, means, and methods.
- Skills: Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office; ability to lead under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Leadership: Demonstrated integrity, accountability, high ethical standards, and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
